Even Better Than The Real Thing

The Joshua Tree makes it to No.12 and Achtung Baby to No.9 in a Q Magazine poll of the best albums of the past 15 years.

Speaking to Q, the UK magazine which is 15 years old this month, Adam says that his highlight of the last decade and a half was 'being able to take the Popmart tour to Sarajevo'.

He reveals that he listened to both The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby at the start of the current tour.

'We had to go back and research how we recorded them. Achtung Baby is probably the most complete record. Joshua Tree is nostalgic, it seems like a different person and different band.'

This is a view shared by Moby whose own album Play makes it to No.35. He says that Achtung Baby is the best album of the past 15 years.

Q readers voted Radiohead's OK Computer as their favourite album of the past 15 years. And as Adam adds of Radiohead, 'They're truly special. They're going to be making exciting music for a long time.'
