Time Enough For Tears

24 Oct 2002
Bono has collaborated with Gavin Friday and Maurice Seezer on a new song
called Time Enough For Tears.

The song has been written for the upcoming Jim Sheridan film 'In America'
and is set to be performed by Andrea Corr.

'Bono saw the film and was blown away by it,' explains Friday on
GavinFriday.com. 'He wanted to work with us and something happened,
organically.'

The song, with its 1940's Cole Porter/Ella Fitzgerald ambience, is likely
to surprise those expecting something like 'In the Name of the Father' a
previous collaboraton between the three for an earlier Sheridan film.

'It's very poetic, very romantic.' said Friday. 'Very vulnerable and
naked. It's a beautiful song.'
